Langport Area Team Ministry

The Team Ministry in the Langport Area allows several parishes to work together in providing church services, support for the bereaved, marriage guidance and many other activities to strengthen local and parish cohesion. Each parish, each church and the people representing the individual communities are distinct and allow variation in style of service and the way activities are run.

Mission is an important part of the Team Ministry and each parish has a group of people responsible for mission and support of the Church’s work. One feature of mission is
The Angel, Bow Street in Langport. See the detailed page on activities but also recognise that this is a lively centre where church and non church people meet together and enjoy the casual climate. Volunteers run most of the activities and we hope you will enjoy visiting this old coaching inn in the centre of Langport.
