Safe Families for Children, a new and exciting initiative that the Benefice will be supporting. Can you imagine what it feels like to be alone, no one to turn to? Can you imagine the feeling of failure as a parent_ just because you are exhausted and at the end of your tether? Can you imagine wishing that you could talk to someone who understood? There are many , many families in our community who feel like this - isolated and desperate for someone who understands. COULD THAT SOMEONE BE YOU?

The charity equips and empowers volunteers to come alone side families and children and to befriend, support, and encourage them. Sometime the volunteers will host children up to 12 years of age, to give the parents a break or support in an emergency. Volunteers can be married, single, old, young, working, a student or retired, in supporting a family you may make a friend!    www.safefamiliesfor children.com/southandsouthwest
